Having a disability is very important because some of the issues that affect us, we can do something about like we can vote for the people that believe in us having our rights on issues such as Medicaid, social security, and also you know having the freedom to live in the community and live on our own. We can exercise our right to vote as part of that and for people with disabilities it’s very important for us to show people in the community and politicians that we’re out there and our lives are important.
