My name is Ben Borroel. My name is Ben Borroel and I’m the secretary of Self Advocates Becoming Empowered. Why is it important to Vote? I feel it is important for a disabled person to vote because it not only exercises our right as a citizen of the United States but it gets us out to be able to say to everybody, to our legislatures and everything about our needs and the right to actually speak to them and to correct everything that is going on through that campaign or that legislative process and actually getting to know those people through different activities such as teas and stuff.
