Hannah Bowen was the co-director of the National Technical Assistance Center for Voting and Cognitive Access from 2004 to 2010, an advisor for Self-Advocates Becoming Empowered from 2009 to 2011, and the coordinator for Oregon’s self-advocacy group from 2001 to 2011. She has extensive experience in supporting self-advocate led initiatives and has been working closely with self-advocates across the country on issues related to the right to vote, community involvement, and full inclusion for all people into the democratic process. She is a member of the Oregon Secretary of State’s HAVA Disability Subcommittee. Hannah has extensive experience in training, leadership development, systems improvement and outreach aimed at individuals with developmental disabilities, their family members, policy makers and professionals.
